These little plush hearts are the most adorable things to make and they feel so soft! I decided to make these for my boyfriend after seeing something similar on Pinterest a while ago.

I made loads of stuffed hearts in a range of different colours (pink, red and blue) and also got a clear glass jar which is big enough for all of them to fit - the idea is to hide these little hearts in presents I give him and around his house so when he finds them, he can put them in the jar so it's kind of like a reminder of how much I love him (cheesy, right?!)...
I also attached a little note to the jar tied on with red ribbon just to make it look a little prettier but I forgot to take a picture of that - oops!

So let's get on to how you make them...
What you'll need:

- a heart template made of card/something sturdy to draw around - a piece of soft material (I used red felt and the pink/blue hearts are made from old Disney cushions which I cut up) - needle and thread - stuffing - scissors - pen
How to make it: Step 1 Using your heart template, draw two hearts onto your material of choice.

Step 2
Cut around your heart outline so you're left with two neat heart cut-outs, ready to be stitched together.

Step 3
After threading your needle, you are now ready to stitch the two hearts together along the edges until you are about 3/4 of the way around the heart.

Step 4
Place the stuffing inside the heart through the gap which you have left open, making sure to stuff tightly for a fuller heart. Then continue to stitch up the remaining open edges and tie off with a couple of knots making sure it's nice and secure.

And you're done! Pretty simple but, like I said, they look adorable :)
